Development of the Western Cape IDP Environmental ToolkitThe
aim of the IDP Environmental Toolkit is to assist municipalities to
integrate and include environmental considerations and enhance
sustainability in the drafting and implementation of IDPs as required
in terms of the Local Government Municipal Systems Act 32 of
2000.
It was part of a pilot initiative by DEAT, undertaken in Western Cape, Gauteng and Free State Provinces. Publications and Reports
