Survey of Environmental Practices and Attitudes among Wine Makers in South Africa, the US, and New Zealand

This is a collaborative project with researchers at the Portland State University (US) and the University of Waikato. A recent article based on this work is available here. It is an international comparative survey of the environmental practices and the drivers thereof among wine makers in South Africa, the US, and New Zealand. The research is based primarily on a comprehensive questionnaire that is administered to wine makers in each of the three countries. The first analysis of this data gave rise to a paper submitted to the 2008 Annual Meeting of the Academy of International Business. Follow up research includes semi-structured interviews and more qualitative analysis.
